A gauche : Sur la frontière franco-allemande,
au sud du Land allemand de Rhénanie-Palatinat
A droite : A cheval entre France et Allemagne, sur une borne installée en 1826 et délimitant le parcours de la frontière depuis 1815, à l'époque entre la France et le Royaume de Bavière (Bavière rhénane), dans la forêt haute du Mundat (Mundatwald), à la pointe nord-ouest de Wissembourg (France). Depuis la signature par la République française et la République fédérale d'Allemagne, le 28 août 1990 au Consulat de RFA à Nancy, de l'accord franco-allemand du 10 mai 1984, la forêt revendiquée de l'Obermundat est possession foncière de la France sur territoire national allemand.

Right: On the since 1815 French-German border in Mundatwald area near Wissembourg, France. The boundary stone is dated 1826 and was built at that time between France and an exclave of the Kingdom of Bavaria. Since the agreement of 10 May 1984 between the French Republic and the German Federal Republic, signed on 29 August 1990 in the German consulate premises in Nancy, France, the forest of Obermundat is owned by France while being located on German territory.
